On 15 April 2026, as part of World Parkinson Awareness Month, PingPongParkinson™ delivered three 90-minute sessions at Concord Hospital’s Day Therapy and Movement Disorders Service in Sydney.
Twenty people living with Parkinson’s disease participated across the sessions, engaging in structured table tennis activities designed to support movement, coordination, and social connection. The sessions were met with strong enthusiasm, with participants reporting both enjoyment and immediate functional benefits.
This initiative highlights the growing role of community-based, activity-driven programs in supporting people with Parkinson’s, complementing existing clinical care.
