PingPongParkinson® 2025 World Championship Announcement
6th PingPongParkinson® World Championship – A Global Celebration
The 6th PingPongParkinson® World Championship brought together more than 350 competitors living with Parkinson’s from 26 countries, alongside volunteers and supporters, from 20–26 October 2025. The week-long event extended well beyond competition, featuring a scientific congress on exercise and sport, an art exhibition, and a vibrant players’ party, celebrating creativity, movement, and connection.

The Championship was opened by Nenad Bach, founder of PingPongParkinson®, who spoke powerfully about the importance of joy, mutual support, and community connection through table tennis, local chapters, and global events such as this. As Nenad reminded participants:
“Humility is our superpower. Let us love and respect each other… and show the world that even with an incurable diagnosis, we can be contributing members of society. Bring this message to your countries and form new PPP chapters with the same principles of joy and peace.”— Nenad Bach, Founder, PingPongParkinson®
PingPongParkinson’s patient-led international tournaments offer rare and vital opportunities for people with Parkinson’s, particularly as the condition remains unrecognised within Para Sport globally, including the Paralympic movement.
